Yes, I'm still here. XD
I'm not doing a lot of digital work these days. It's not that I've lost interest, just that I don't have time. Classes are kicking my ass. Been doing lots of traditional work for the spring show, but it's too large to scan. I might get Kate, or someone else with a decent camera, to photo it for me and then I'll post it. Or not. We'll see.
My drawing instructor is great. He's a sarcastic asshole that pulls no punches, but he is very funny in the way he does it (so it's impossible to get mad at him), and he really pushes his students to not just learn techniques but to learn about themselves and what they want their art to convey. His classes really give my brain a workout. As a result, my work is going in directions I never though of, but it feels right. I'm having a blast.
I've been thinking of doing a couple of tutorials--one for photo transfers, and one for ink wash. If anyone is interested, let me know, and I'll stop thinking about it and actually do it.

In other news, I have this awesome new HD widescreen monitor--and it made me realize that my past digital work looks like crap.

I'll probably pull everything from my gallery soon and start over. No time now, though.
That is all.

Featured Favorites -- Be Sure to Check 'Em Out I have lots (too many, maybe?) of favorite artworks here on dA, so I've decided to feature a few of them whenever I update my journal. You may have already seen some of them, but if not, enjoy! (And be sure to leave feedback for the artists!)
